What is The Device Hub?

The Device Hub connects shoppers with pre-owned electronics, expert repairs, and trade-ins across 39 pages of helpful local service options.

Do I need to know the exact fault before booking a repair?

No. Choose the closest symptom and add a note. For in-store bookings, we inspect the device and confirm the repair and price before work starts. Mail-in bookings have a £10 diagnosis fee, and we still confirm the repair price before any repair work begins.

Can I post my device to you for repair?

Yes. Choose the mail-in option when booking and pay the £10 diagnosis fee. Once payment is confirmed, we'll email you a prepaid inbound postage label and packing instructions. Please use that label, keep proof of posting, and we'll confirm when your device arrives.

Is the repair price I see online final?

Prices shown online are estimates unless marked as fixed. We always confirm the final price with you after diagnosis and before any work begins — no surprises.

Will my data be safe during a repair?

Please back up your device where possible and remove your SIM and memory cards before handing it over or posting it. Only share a passcode if it's needed for agreed testing.

What do the product grades mean?

Grade A means excellent — very light signs of careful use. Grade B means very good — light, visible signs of use that don't affect performance. Grade C means good value — more noticeable cosmetic wear while remaining fully tested and functional. Every product page also describes its individual cosmetic condition.

Are your devices tested?

Yes. Every device is inspected, tested and reset by our in-store technicians before it goes on sale, covering the screen, battery, cameras, speakers, buttons, connectivity and more.

Can I collect an online order from your Stockport store?

Yes — choose free collection at checkout. We'll confirm when your order is ready before you travel to 77 Wellington Road South, Stockport.

How does a trade-in differ from selling my device?

Selling means we buy your device outright for cash. Trading in means the value of your old device is put towards a device you want from us — you just pay the difference.

How do you value my device when I sell it?

Your online quote is provisional and based on the details you provide. The final value is confirmed after our in-person or postal inspection — model, storage, condition, battery and network status all affect the price.

How do I track my order or repair?

Use the Track page with your reference number (from your confirmation) and the email address you used. You can also call us on 0161 393 3690.

We're at 77 Wellington Road South, Stockport, SK1 3RU — a short walk from Stockport town centre. You can visit us for repairs, purchases, selling and trade-ins.

What happens if my repair needs extra work?

If diagnosis changes the scope of the repair, we'll contact you with a revised quote and only proceed once you approve it.
