Returns & refunds

Returns that respect
your consumer rights.

The information below summarises our consumer returns process. It does not limit any rights you have under UK law.

01

Tell us

For an online change-of-mind return, tell us within the statutory cancellation period. For a fault, contact us as soon as possible.

02

Return the item

We'll explain the correct return route. Keep proof of posting where you are sending an item back.

03

Refund

Where a refund is due, we return it to the original payment method within the applicable legal timeframe.

Online purchases: change of mind

For most goods bought online, by phone or by mail, a consumer can cancel without giving a reason within 14 days after receiving the goods. After telling us you are cancelling, you normally have a further 14 days to return them. Legal exceptions apply to certain types of goods.

You may inspect goods as you reasonably would in a shop. If handling goes beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods and their value is reduced, the law may allow an appropriate deduction from the refund.

Where the statutory cancellation right applies, we refund the basic/standard outbound delivery charge you paid, if any. If you chose a more expensive delivery method, the additional premium does not have to be refunded. You may have to pay the direct cost of returning non-faulty goods where the law permits and you were informed of that responsibility.

Faulty, misdescribed or unsuitable goods

Your rights for faulty goods are separate from the 14-day distance-selling cancellation right. Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. UK consumer law can provide a short-term right to reject within 30 days and, after that, rights that may include repair or replacement and, depending on the circumstances, a price reduction or final right to reject.

A commercial warranty or product grading description does not remove these statutory rights. Sale or discounted products have the same statutory rights for faults as full-price products.

In-store purchases

There is no general statutory right to return an in-store purchase simply because you changed your mind. This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, or any additional goodwill return policy we expressly offer.

Refund timing

For a qualifying distance-sale cancellation, refunds are made within the statutory timeframe. Where goods are being returned, the law generally allows us to wait until we receive the goods back or receive evidence that you sent them back, whichever occurs first. Other refunds are handled according to the relevant consumer right and circumstances.

Model cancellation form

If a statutory cancellation right applies, you can use the wording below. You do not have to use this exact form as long as you clearly tell us that you are cancelling.
